Banister and Foyer Christmas

Our little banister is short and not very dramatic,
but as you enter the front door,
you see that it is, nevertheless,
ready for Christmas.

I wrapped it in last year's greenery,
added some tags and red and silver balls,
as well as a pair of my daughter's
outgrown ice skates ...

And a pretty red bow ~

This Snowman, delivering gifts from his wagon,
is the highlight of the foyer ~

I'm excited to visit other bloggers
to see how they decorated their
banisters - come over to visit
where Judy is hostessing Wednesday's
Christmas Banister Block Party.

  11. Your banister is sooo festive, Mary! How fun that you got to use your daughter's old skates as part of the decoration. That must recall such precious memories for you, each time you pass by your stairs. ;)

Thanks for linking to Time Travel Thursday again this week.
