Gift Wrap Extraordinaire

I am so excited that this week's Christmas Blogger Block Party has begun! The theme today is "Holiday Copycat." Hope you're joining this fun party!

I've always been a very boring gift wrapper - because I never knew how to make packages look thrilling. Since blogging these past nine months, I've learned to jump in and try things, knowing they don't have to be perfect (thanks, Nester, for the quote!).

Woman's Day's "Best Ideas for Christmas" edition showed some very exciting Christmas gift wrap ideas using brown craft paper. This is Page 73 from the magazine ~

Nandina berries and greens from my back yard were tucked into my package.

Nandina berries are always available here in Virginia during the holiday season, and I've often used them in various Christmas vignettes. I think this may be my favorite ~

  8. I love wrapping presents - I know, totally weird, but so true! I'm a master wrapper, I'd like to think anyway ;)

Usually I just stick to paper and bows - last year I made the switch to ribbons instead of the usual store bought bows. And this year, thanks to your amazing inspiration, I think I'll add the sprigs of greenery and berries. Your package looks just stunning!

    Thanks for sharing!

    Take care,
    Christina
