Remember the island Mr. Redo and I built last summer?
It has been one of the best things we ever did to our kitchen!
But, until recently, I never thought of adding a towel bar ~
But, until recently, I never thought of adding a towel bar ~
I first got the idea on Pinterest.
Loved the thought of having seasonal towels
there to add a little extra interest.
I made this sweet little Valentine's towel ...
I saw one like it last year in Blogland
but don't know who made it.
If you know, please comment so I can give credit.

One of my plans for this blog in 2012
is to copy something from Pinterest
each month. It's so easy to pin and pin
but never do anything with those pins.
With all the great ideas, I want
to make a point of copying some of them.
Have you started thinking about Valentine's Day yet?
Do you regularly copy pins from Pinterest?

Great idea and it looks very nice. I have little towels hanging on my cabinets, but on a ring. I might have to try your idea.
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love your island and your towel bar with your precious little towel looks beautiful! I love Pinterest and I too get so many ideas.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Just found your great blog. I'm with you about doing something with all those gorgeous pins. So, I'm going to (TRY) and follow your lead and do at least one inspiring idea a month. Hey! If I do one, it'll still count as two because the first one is taking your advice, right?!

That is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about pinterest. I love spending time there and getting ideas but it IS very easy to just pin and never actually DO anything. I've used a few things for inspiration though-especially in the recipes!

ReplyDeleteHi! I found you via Kristen's party. Love your island and that towel is so precious! I am a fellow Virginian and your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteThat towel is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteYou did a good job with that towel, Mary! I spend very little time on Pinterest, because I know it would take up my whole day, lol! But I do a similar thing as you. I save pics, of things that I would like to craft, onto a flash drive, yet I never do them. I need to get on the ball here!
ReplyDeleteGreat addition to an already fantastic island! Thanks for sharing at this week's Open House!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking. We'd love to have you back next week, the link is usually open by Tuesday afternoon. We loved partying with you!

Great addition to your island and the towel is adorable. I pin, pin, pin but rarely do - great goal!
ReplyDeleteYour towel rack is adorable! I love Pinterest too. I've been pinning garden ideas to try out in the spring when it warms up. I hope my daughter in college is pinning ideas to try out in my house when she comes back to visit. I love other people--who are creative--giving my house a facelift. It makes my day.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! Thank you for joining me at Home Sweet Home!
