Sunday Morning

I, even I, am he who comforts you.

Isaiah 51: 12

Thirty years ago I learned that the Lord
loves me unconditionally, and I chose to
surrender my life to Him.

These thirty years of walking
with the Lord have not always been easy.
Life isn't always easy.
But the Lord has been with me
every step of the way.

This week, as we watch and wait
with Uncle Lindy, the Lord is
comforting me with the verse above.
I'm thankful for His word.

Hugs ~ Mary

  1. I'm thinking of you. At Raymond's funeral, one of the ministers led us in the Twenty-third Psalm. There is so much comfort to be found in scripture, isn't there?

  11. Your verse is well chosen. May God be with you. Your vigil is like birth in a way as your Uncle Lindy is being birthed into eternal life.
