Give thanks ...
I Thess. 5:18 NIV
There are lots of things to be thankful for,
but in today's 104 degree heat,
air conditioning
is near the top of my list,
just under
electricity
which keeps the A/C going.
Are y'all doing okay in this heat?
Hugs ~ Mary
I'm sharing at:

Amen to that. It went to 97 I believe but it broke a record for here. xo
ReplyDeleteYou must have read my mind! I have been thanking God for the last 8 days that our 30 year old air conditioner didn't give out! We had 102 yesterday in Minnesota! But 104!! Gasp!
ReplyDeleteWell, your photos looks very cool and lovely! We were headed to 103 today but not sure if we hit that. It should break tomorrow after an eleven day heatwave. Air-conditioner on and fans in every room. Sure hope the rest of the summer isn't as extreme!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your Thankful post on Think on These Things :)
Hi Mary, I think its 110 in the shade in south Alabama today! We could use some rain! Have a great weekend, Dorothy
ReplyDeleteIt has cooled off today! Hurray! Record setting temps for the week was a bit too much!
ReplyDeleteI finished THE HELP last week and really liked the book. Made me "think" about how unfair life was and still can be.
Keep Cool.

I agree AC is a blessing for sure. Our neighbors are having a big party and I am not hearing a thing thanks to my AC and the windows shut. Stay cool my friend. I hope relief is soon.
ReplyDeleteWe are having lots of rain here in the North East of Scotland. It's the wettest July in years. Last month was the same. However, the plants are looking lush so praise God for the rain.
ReplyDeleteIt is really hot! We have been at the ballfield, sitting in the shade and drinking lots of water!!! Stay cool dear friend. Hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Mary and I do say a hearty AMEN to that! :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
shelia ;)
My goodness! 102 and 104 degrees? I don't think we've ever been that hot. Air conditioning in the new homes built here is becoming standard but not in our 25 year old home in the country. We have 30 degrees celsuis today and we are melting!(That translates into 86 degrees Fahrenheit!) Then again, 30 is hot for where we live and not all that common during the summer. Praying that this heat and humidity doesn't turn into a nasty storm tonight!
ReplyDeleteI love that tablecloth, it looks beautiful on your table. I have it in pink & white. It's made by Startex, and probably is 40's to 50's. The blue colorway isn't easy to find. Amazing price too, wow! Also trying to stay cool too, at least we didn't lose electric in the terrible storms last night.
ReplyDeleteYour photo looks refreshing, even if the temps are not! It is in the 90s here and looks like it will be pushing 100 a few days, so yes, I am SO thankful for our AC. Being thankful for what we have (AC) and not grumbling about what we don't want, the heat, does help make our hearts joyful!
