Elizabeth beat me to the camera store!
When Elaine of Sunny Simple Life suggested the Canon PowerShot SX40, Mr. Redo did some research on it and made this announcement:
"Elizabeth will be very happy with this camera."
Since she'd already saved her share of the money, we rushed to Target and bought it - eek, we were both so excited.
First order of business: she named her camera "Gizmo."

In the car, she plugged in the settings and by the time we were home, she started shooting pics. I cannot believe the improvement this camera has over my little point and shoot
(Kodak EasyShare).
