So I had this idea the other morning ... about starting a little simple, easy Homeschoolers Photography Club. I posted to my Yahoo homeschoolers group, and to my shock and amazement (and fear), 17 families responded that they were interested. Some with multiple interested children.
I freaked out! There is no way on this earth that I could lead a group of 17+ kids. I'd gotten myself into this mess, now how would I get out?!
Fortunately, one of the moms stepped up to the plate and offered to lead if I would organize. Well, as a former secretary, I can organize all day long. I love to organize. Nerdy, I know!
So at this point, we've changed from two or three families in my den (my original idea) to lots of families in a reserved library room or perhaps at a church. The kids and I are very excited.
I just hope the group still wants cookies, like I originally dreamed.
Chocolate chip, preferably!
