Tweaking the Bathroom

Well, I finally hung the new bathroom mirror - not sure why it seems to take me forever to complete the smallest tweaks.
Probably because I always seem to have numerous small projects going on at once.

I'm really tickled with how pretty it looks. This tiniest
of all bathrooms makes it hard to get a good pic,
but you get the idea.

When we moved here three years ago, there was a very generic plain mirror. I replaced that with a country checker board mirror. I always tell Elizabeth, don't buy it unless you love it.
I like this one, but I didn't love it!

Actually now that I'm looking at the photo of it in my living
room, I wonder if it might have a new life there among the
reds and blues. Ah, another tweak, perhaps?!

I found my new oval mirror at a June yard sale and snagged it for $2. It was waiting for paint, which finally happened last week.

Yesterday, while on Staycation, Mr. Redo helped with the hanging process and now, she's up.

And yes, Elizabeth ... I love it!

  5. It's just beautiful Mary and the perfect touch to a small bathroom. I do the same things you do. I'm usually doing so many different things at one time, it's hard to accomplish anything. I love the old mirror and maybe it just needs a new home, to fit right in.

  6. Hi Mary! I love it too. Your new mirror is so pretty and looks great in your little bathroom. I know exactly what you mean about getting around to little projects. I go to bed thinking...I'll do this and that. Wake up through the night thinking about it and wake up in the morning and poof...I don't do them.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)
