It's official.
The Richmond Homeschool Photography Club held
it's first meeting yesterday at the local library.
I was a wreck! So nervous, because I:
1. Don't like being in charge
2. Don't like talking in front of people
3. Had to do both
But it was fine, the seven kids are all great photographers and very excited about the hobby.
Using Lynda Giddens' information from The Sits Girls website,
we learned about Perspective.
Perspective is taking photographs of one object, e.g. a tree, and telling the whole story of the tree from various angles - looking down, looking up, different sides of the tree, close up of leaves. I love taking pictures like this, it's just fun.
You can read more about the Photography Challenge
by Lynda Giddens here.
We'll meet again next month and learn another online tip from Lynda, and then go outside the library for a photo shoot. Lots of lovely walkways, benches, lake and fountain - can't wait!

ReplyDeleteSo glad I found your blog. You are so brave to undertake an endeavor that makes you uncomfortable - speaking in public can be nerve wracking. Your photos are beautiful. -- Jan
