My Computer Died

A moment of silence, please, for my dear departed Inspiron computer.

We go back a long way, that computer and I, and have become true blue friends.

One night my Matthew was playing games on it ... the next morning - dead computer.

Mr. Redo has worked on it for four solid days ... at one point he received a message that there were 150+ viruses on it. That's enough to kill the strongest computer, don'tcha think?

Meanwhile I am hobbling by on Elizabeth's laptop. The one with no zero key, which also runs the closed parethesis key. Laptops and I don't seem to be from the same century, mindset, whatever it is that makes some things click and others - not so much.

So I can write blog posts, in fact I have three just waiting to upload.

But I can't attach pictures. And what's a blogpost without a picture? Nil. Zero. Nada.

So hopefully, one day, some day, I will be able to blog again. I was on such a roll, posting every day since November 1.

There are other things I can do, so I will get on with those things. And be back with you soon, I hope.

Hugs ~ Mary

  1. That stinks. I hope you are back up and running someday soon. I know you can do about anything with a Kindle HD Fire but I haven't tried posting with pictures. They are only $200. I will try and see what happens.

  4. Oh no :-(
I run malwarebytes, (download free) on my computer and the one at work, it usually detects and clears up viruses free.

  5. Sad!! (the sound of taps)...when my last computer died I got a lap top and I love it so much. It's not one of those tablet things but a real lap top with a nice keyboard and zero and ()
but take a look and find what really makes you happy.

  6. Sorry. At least computers are fairly cheap these days. Not that that helps when you don't have the money. Which I wouldn't. Write down all those post ideas in a notebook.
