A moment of silence, please, for my dear departed Inspiron computer.
We go back a long way, that computer and I, and have become true blue friends.
One night my Matthew was playing games on it ... the next morning - dead computer.
Mr. Redo has worked on it for four solid days ... at one point he received a message that there were 150+ viruses on it. That's enough to kill the strongest computer, don'tcha think?
Meanwhile I am hobbling by on Elizabeth's laptop. The one with no zero key, which also runs the closed parethesis key. Laptops and I don't seem to be from the same century, mindset, whatever it is that makes some things click and others - not so much.
So I can write blog posts, in fact I have three just waiting to upload.
But I can't attach pictures. And what's a blogpost without a picture? Nil. Zero. Nada.
So hopefully, one day, some day, I will be able to blog again. I was on such a roll, posting every day since November 1.
There are other things I can do, so I will get on with those things. And be back with you soon, I hope.
Hugs ~ Mary
That stinks. I hope you are back up and running someday soon. I know you can do about anything with a Kindle HD Fire but I haven't tried posting with pictures. They are only $200. I will try and see what happens.
ReplyDeleteOh no!! I am sorry. Mine is hanging on by a thread and there is no $ in the budget for a new one.
ReplyDeleteOh wow - what a bummer. Hope you get things squared away soon!
ReplyDeleteOh no :-(
ReplyDeleteI run malwarebytes, (download free) on my computer and the one at work, it usually detects and clears up viruses free.
Sad!! (the sound of taps)...when my last computer died I got a lap top and I love it so much. It's not one of those tablet things but a real lap top with a nice keyboard and zero and ()
ReplyDeletebut take a look and find what really makes you happy.
hugs, Linda
Sorry. At least computers are fairly cheap these days. Not that that helps when you don't have the money. Which I wouldn't. Write down all those post ideas in a notebook.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry about you computer, I've had this happend to me to, one day just wouldn't turn on! What's up with that? Couldn't there be a warming of something. But from this experience I learned to go buy a external hard drive and BACKUP! Hope you did, losing everything is a true bummer! Hope to see you back soon!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so sorry! Hope you get another one soon. I hate this and it's happened to me and I felt like I was cut off from the world, well, Blogland is a big part of my world.
ReplyDeleteYep, you caught me, I ate the chocolate! :)
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
Oh no! Aren't computer issues awful?! Hopefully you'll be back in the swing of things soon. Maybe you should look at this as a nice break :)
