However, I did spend plenty of dimes in December when I bought
seven calendars from Hobby Lobby (using my 40% coupons).
It's fun having a calendar is nearly every room, but every month you turn over a page and it's a picture you don't love. When you have so many calendars, there are lots of pictures to choose from.
So you move a calendar from a remote wall into the spotlight, thus frequently seeing a picture that adds joy to your day. I love this picture, isn't it pretty for Valentines?!
The picture below is from Out on the Porch, and while it's too cold here to sit outside, it makes me happy dreaming of summer. Wouldn't we have fun, you and me, sitting on this beautiful porch and sipping sweet tea? Talking and talking ...
Oh I really wish y'all could come over for a visit, for real.
This lucky lady below is having a special treat, wearing her high heels and hat - doesn't this look like fun?! Maybe we could dress up and eat cupcakes served by a very proper waiter!
Did you notice the banner that spells out chocolate! Oh I wish I'd thought of that! Maybe next Valentine's.
So I'm back home now, wishing I'd remembered to buy the two ingredients I need to bake blondies. It'll be my first time - have you made them?
Hugs ~ Mary

Beautiful!!! Love all of those sweet images! The chocolate banner is too cute:) Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThose are my kind of calendars! Love them.
ReplyDeleteI made blondies once, but decided chocolate is better! Chocolate anything!

I have those days when I just need to get out and shop aka look!!! Love all your calendars, they do have the cutest pictures! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you, Mary, about sometimes needing to take a shopping/inspiration day. Such pretty images you shared...makes my planner look very boring!

Good for you for not spending any money today. I bought a lot of scrapbooking supplies on sale, but I did put back a pretty top that I carried all through the store. I'm trying to reduce my wardrobe, and I decided I didn't need to buy it just because I liked it and just because it was on sale.
ReplyDeleteI've never made blondies. It's always chocolate for me.
I have not made blondes...I prefer brownies! But I am sure they will be good!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be fun to sit out on that porch and visit? Do I have to wear high heels tho?

Funny we were talking about calendars today, I told my husbane it was the 10 feb only because I didn't change the month and we were still on January not February on the kitchen calendar.
